Not everyone needs a fully-loaded camper – sometimes it’s just about hitting the road with a solid setup that does the job, looks great, and keeps costs sensible. That’s where our U-Shape Lite comes in.
We’ve taken our popular U-Shape layout and stripped it back to the essentials – keeping the spacious social layout, massive bed, and clean design you love, but dialling down the extras to create something more accessible.
What's Included
Insulation and Sound Deadening
The first step in any van conversion is making sure the space is comfortable and quiet. We use high-quality Dodo Mat products for both insulation and sound deadening. These materials are some of the best on the market and are made using recycled content, making them a smart and sustainable choice.
With proper insulation and soundproofing, your van stays warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and quieter no matter where you’re parked. It’s all about creating a space that feels good in any weather.
Electrical system
Every van comes equipped with a full 12V and 240V electrical setup to keep you powered wherever you go. The 12V system runs off a 110Ah leisure battery, charged by both a DC-DC charger while driving and a 240V mains hook-up when parked.
You’ll get convenient USB or USB-C charging points, modern LED lighting including ceiling spotlights and under-kitchen strip lighting, plus a 240V consumer unit with a pop-up socket system for plugging in larger appliances. It’s all designed to be reliable, efficient, and road trip ready.
Please note: The Lite Package excludes a fridge to keep costs down. However, the kitchen unit is designed to accommodate one, so it’s easy to upgrade later if needed.
Professionally carpeted
Carpeting is one of the most challenging and important parts of a van conversion. With years of experience, we ensure every detail is done right. We fully carpet the ceiling, walls, and door panels to give your van a clean, seamless, and professional finish.
It’s this level of craftsmanship that transforms your van from a shell into a comfortable, stylish living space.
Furniture
This conversion includes a custom-built U-shaped furniture layout—ideal for relaxing, dining, and socialising. The seating offers built-in storage beneath, including a dedicated space for a Porta Potti, so you can stay organised and road-ready.
The kitchen unit is built from durable 15mm Hex board with a strong birch core, offering a tough, cost-effective solution that still delivers a high-quality finish and a sleek, modern look.
By night, the seating quickly transforms into a spacious, comfortable bed, giving you the flexibility to sleep in comfort without sacrificing living space.
Also included in the price are a removable table and upholstered cushions, giving your van a complete and ready-to-enjoy interior.
Altro Flooring
We fit every van with Altro flooring—known for its durability and quality. It’s designed to handle the heavy use that comes with van life, offering a tough, long-lasting surface that’s easy to clean and maintain.
Available in a range of styles, including classic black speckle, it adds both function and a clean, professional finish to your van’s interior.
Other
This package includes one sliding window, fitted with 82% privacy-tinted safety glass for added comfort and security. Whether your van has barn doors or a tailgate, rear windows are included too – it’s all part of the package.
A 240V mains hook-up is also installed, giving you easy access to shore power whenever you're parked up.
Please note: The Lite Package window comes with a curtain, and you can choose to add more windows if needed, at an additional cost.
